Origin & Catalyst
For years, I used platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to structure business workflows, track training regimens, and maintain detailed records. During my service in the Marine Corps, coordinating exercises, deployments, and contingency plans required managing massive datasets in Excel and systems like JOPES to direct Current Operations (COPS) and Future Operations (FOPS). The operational discipline of reverse-engineering execution from high-level objectives and logging daily activity remains the bedrock of everything I do today.
Unlike corporate employees whose labor is tracked by timecards and payroll receipts, an independent person cannot easily provide objective proof of the hours, effort, and developmental runway invested into their projects. I built Jojo Dojo out of the necessity to consolidate daily and monthly project hours, granular practice logs, and long-term milestones—such as my daughter's karate training (80+ hours) and daily academic studies (Japanese, mathematics)—into objective, tamper-proof records. System data independently verifies over 200 hours of development time invested in building this application from scratch. What originated to optimize my own household and work routines is now being adapted into a deployable tool for other independent operators seeking administrative self-reliance.
Overview
Jojo Dojo is a custom management system engineered to run securely across any device—both online and completely offline—to track multi-vector projects and daily habits with high precision. It unifies daily activity logs, task execution, and multi-year planning calendars into a single, clean interface.
Built as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on the front end with Firebase infrastructure on the back end, the software provides steady data security and background synchronization. It deploys instantly via a standard web address across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers without third-party app-store gatekeepers, undergoing continuous refinement based directly on daily ground-level use.
